Even though you are taking a break I was wondering...... what if you made a Christmas Special. yea sure Christmas is very far away, but I see it's a lot of work to make a song and it takes some time. if you don't hav ideas and decide u should make a Christmas Special, take a classic and improvise on it. like Carol of the Bells or some other songs. it's just a suggestion. it's a good thing to take a break and ideas can pop up easily or something. maybe after your break u can catch up on that song that u started which is called "Jump." anyways keep up the good work.

When I get writers blocks, I try out new genres/ remix old songs/ remix other peoples songs/ try emulating someone else's style. Usually those techniques don't make for good productions, but it makes me happy and I think that's essential for beating frustration.
I don't think taking a break would solve your problem. If anything, you'll slowly lose interest in producing and you'll find other things to do. Which could be a good thing. We'll just have to wait and see how this block of yours pans out :P
Well its a weird writers block. i can think of stuff.. But its like I have a limited number of minutes on a song, then after a while, i cant think of anything else regardless of where I am. Therefore I cant even experiment with different genres. I have to admit I have lost some interest in music over the span of my writers block. it's kind of like if you fall off a bike over and over again, you probably won't want to try again.
